This privacy policy sets out how Pipe Core Pty Ltd uses and protects any information that you give Pipe Core including when you use the Pipe Core website or the Pipe Core App for smartphones.

Pipe Core is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using the website or App, it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

The Pipe Core Privacy Policy will be available on the Pipe Core website and App and Pipe Core may amend this policy from time to time and publish the updated policy on the website and App. You should check this policy from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We may collect the following information via website and App:

• name and job title
• contact information including telephone numbers and email addresses, address and postcode
• other information relevant to customers such as preferences, interests and responses to surveys and/or offers

If applying for a credit account, we or our third party provider may also collect the following information on credit applications:

• business name, ownership, ABN, ACN if a company
• name and job title of business managers, owners and Directors
  contact information including telephone numbers and email addresses for business managers, owners and Directors
  personal and business address for business managers, owners and Directors credit worthiness information including trade references

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER

We require the information gathered from the website or App to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• internal record keeping
• process an online order for goods
• we may use the information to improve our products and services
• we may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
• from time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests

If applying for a credit account we may also use the information to enable Pipe Core to assess the credit application by obtaining information about the business applying for credit, its commercial activities, credit history and the credit worthiness of the business and its managers, owners or Directors from a third party which provides commercial credit related information, and to obtain personal credit information about the business owners or the Directors from a credit reporting agency.

We will also contact nominated trade references to seek credit history on your business.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we use our best endeavors to put in place suitable physical, electronic and operational procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect on the website, our App or from credit applications.

HOW WE USE COOKIES
